Job description
Neways Cable & Wire Solutions (NCWS) Echt specialises in the development, industrialisation, assembly, and testing of advanced cable systems and connectivity solutions for the international high-tech industry. From our site in Echt, we develop innovative solutions for the semiconductor, medical, and safety & security sectors. Our complex cable assemblies and ultra-clean connectivity solutions are used in advanced machines and systems worldwide.
At NCWS Echt, you will become part of a professional and close-knit organisation where quality, craftsmanship, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. Thanks to our short communication lines, you will quickly take on responsibility and have plenty of opportunities to contribute ideas and drive improvements. At the same time, you benefit from the international strength of the Neways Group and collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines and locations.
This is how you make impact
As an Administrator Finance & Control, you ensure that our financial administration is reliable, up to date, and fully auditable. You process and review financial data, support periodic closing activities, and contribute to reporting that Finance and management can rely on.
You combine day-to-day financial administration with control and reporting activities. You prepare journal entries, process provisions and financial transactions, review general ledger data, and prepare balance sheet specifications and profit and loss overviews. You also take care of VAT and CBS reporting and help ensure that financial processes and reporting comply with applicable procedures and IFRS guidelines.
You also play an important role in intercompany administration, audits, and internal controls. You process and reconcile transactions between group companies, prepare audit documentation, and maintain contact with auditors and other external parties. Internally, you work closely with Finance colleagues, management, and other departments on financial matters.
Beyond accurate execution, you actively look for ways to improve. You identify optimisation opportunities and contribute to the further digitalisation and standardisation of Finance processes. You work in a compact Finance Team together with two other Finance colleagues and report directly to the Financial Controller.
This is what we offer you
You will join an international high-tech organisation where innovation, quality, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. At NCWS Echt, you will work in an open and informal environment where colleagues know each other, communication lines are short, and initiative is highly valued.
The combination of a specialised manufacturing site and the international strength of the Neways Group gives you a high level of responsibility and excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. You will collaborate with professionals from various disciplines and contribute from Finance to a reliable foundation for the organisation’s continued development.
In addition, we offer:
A competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience;
27 vacation days and 13 ADV days;
Flexible working hours and the opportunity to work partly from home;
Extensive training and development opportunities;
A competitive pension scheme;
Holiday allowance;
Travel reimbursement;
An attractive bicycle plan.
This is what you bring to the team
You work accurately and in a structured way, with a strong sense of responsibility. Financial data needs to be correct, and you naturally identify, investigate, and follow up deviations in a timely manner. You combine analytical skills with attention to detail and maintain oversight, even during busy closing periods.
You are comfortable working independently while actively collaborating with colleagues and other departments. You communicate clearly, handle financial information with integrity, and proactively take ownership of improvements. You are results-oriented and practical: you not only record what happens, but also want to understand where the numbers come from and how processes can become smarter and more reliable.
Additionally, you bring:
A completed HBO degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a comparable field;
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or financial administration;
Knowledge of IFRS and experience working with financial procedures and compliance requirements;
Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools;
Experience with VAT returns; experience with CBS statistical filings is an advantage;
Good command of both Dutch and English;
Availability for 40 hours per week;
An accurate, analytical, and proactive working style, combined with integrity, problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a clear focus on collaboration and results.
