Lead complex NPI and CAPEX projects at Neways and turn mission-critical high-tech technology from concept into manufacturable, sustainable production solutions.
Job description
Neways Advanced Applications in Son is our Center of Excellence for high-level assemblies serving the semiconductor and connectivity industries. We develop and manufacture mission-critical electronics that enable technological innovation. Do you want to lead complex NPI and CAPEX projects and turn high-tech innovation into manufacturable products and sustainable production processes? Explore Neways in life-changing tech together.
This is how you make impact
As a Project Manager (NPI & CAPEX), you lead complex, strategically important projects within our high-tech manufacturing environment. You are responsible for the successful execution of New Product Introductions (NPI), capital investment projects, and continuous improvement initiatives, continuously balancing Quality, Logistics, Technology, and Cost (QLTC).
Working closely with customers and multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality, you translate technological ambitions into concrete and achievable project outcomes. You bring structure, maintain oversight, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.
You act as a senior partner for customers and internal stakeholders and know how to connect and mobilize teams. You combine decisiveness with an open and transparent way of working. In doing so, you directly contribute to scalable manufacturing processes, operational excellence, and the continued growth of Neways.
This is what we offer you
A key role within an international, technology-driven organization where you have a direct impact on strategic projects, business-critical investments, and the industrialization of innovative high-tech products. You will work with leading customers and have plenty of room for ownership, initiative, and professional development.
In addition, we offer:
A competitive salary aligned with your knowledge and experience;
27 vacation days and 13 ADV days;
Flexible working hours;
Extensive training, learning, and professional development opportunities;
An attractive bicycle plan;
A good pension scheme, holiday allowance, and travel reimbursement;
An open and entrepreneurial culture where collaboration, clear agreements, and people come first.
This is what you bring to our team
You are an experienced, down-to-earth, and connecting project professional with strong technical affinity. You bring calm and structure to complex situations while maintaining pace and focus on results. You communicate easily with engineers, customers, and management, take ownership, and are decisive when needed.
Additionally, you bring:
A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field;
At least 10 years of project management experience within a technical or high-tech environment;
At least 5 years of experience leading medium to large NPI, CAPEX, and/or continuous improvement projects, preferably within high-tech EMS;
Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations/Production, and Quality;
Experience managing project scope, planning, budgets, risks, resources, business cases, and escalations;
Experience in customer communication and stakeholder management at tactical and strategic level;
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2, and/or Agile;
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to substantiate complex decisions clearly;
Good command of both Dutch and English.
Experience with international customers and project teams, investment projects exceeding €1 million, sustainability/circularity, lifecycle management, and data-driven tools such as Microsoft Project, Power BI, or risk analysis tools is an advantage. You are willing to travel internationally on occasion.
