To strengthen our HQ Finance team, we are looking for a Credit & Treasury Specialist who combines strong collection expertise with a proactive, customer-oriented mindset.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine operational credit management with treasury exposure, providing broad development opportunities with an international finance organization. In this role, you will play a key part in improving cash flow performance, reducing overdue receivables, and supporting daily treasury activities. You will work closely with Finance teams across our operating companies, helping to further professionalize our central collection process while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is what you bring to the team

You are a strong communicator who knows how to balance customer relationships with business objectives. You have an analytical mindset and pay attention to detail. You are persistent, proactive, and comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels within the organization and have a continuous improvement mindset

In addition, you have:

  • MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience in Credit Control, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or a similar role.

  • Proven experience with collection and cash management activities.

  • Experience working with ERP systems; experience with Infor and/or Coupa is an advantage.

  • Good command of both Dutch and English.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A commercial mindset and the ability to maintain positive customer relationships while achieving collection targets.

  • A proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach.

  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

 

Job requirements

Your daily responsibilities include

As Credit & Treasury Specialist, you are responsible for monitoring and improving the collection process across multiple operating companies in the Netherlands (approx. 6). You will be the link between Finance, Commercial Finance Teams, and customers, ensuring outstanding invoices are followed up in a professional and effective manner (70%). Next to that, you will be responsible for the day-to-day treasury activities (30%). You will be part of the HQ Finance team in Son and report directly to the Group Controller.

 

Your responsibilities further include

Credit Control

  • Actively managing and reducing overdue accounts receivable balances.

  • Monitoring and improving Days Sales Outstanding performance (DSO).

  • Maintaining daily contact with Finance and Commercial Finance Teams across multiple operating companies on customer collections and dispute resolution.

  • Following up on outstanding invoices and resolving payment issues.

  • Supporting escalations with customers while preserving long-term business relationships.

  • Contributing to the implementation and further development of a centralized and standardized collection process.

  • Preparing collection reports and monitoring collection performance.

Treasury

  • Supporting daily treasury activities and cash management processes.

  • Assisting with banking-related administration and treasury operations.

  • Supporting short-term cash forecasting, liquidity monitoring and bank relationship management.

  • Managing performance and set-up of Coupa (Treasury Management System).

  • Supporting payment processes and treasury controls.

  • Assisting with intercompany financing and treasury reporting.

  • Collaborating closely with the Group Controller and Treasury team on process improvements and treasury initiatives.

  • You are available to work 32 to 40 hours per week and thrive in a dynamic, international working environment.
