As a Junior Project Manager (NPI, CAPEX, Engineering & Improvement), you will contribute to innovative and strategically important projects within our high-tech manufacturing environment. You will support the introduction of new products, capital investment projects, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping transform ideas into successful outcomes.

Working closely with experienced Project Managers, you will have the opportunity to develop step by step into an independent project leader. Through coaching, training, and hands-on experience, you can grow into a Medior Project Manager role and ultimately progress to Senior Project Manager.

This is what you bring to the team

You have a strong interest in technology, project management, and working in a dynamic high-tech environment. You are eager to learn, take initiative, and enjoy organizing, coordinating, and delivering results. You are motivated to develop into an independent Project Manager and are open to coaching, feedback, and new challenges.

In addition:

• You have at least 1 year of experience in project management, for example in a project support, project coordination, or junior project management role.

• You understand the fundamentals of project planning, risk management, and project documentation, or you are motivated to learn quickly.

• You have an affinity with technology and an interest in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

• You support experienced Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of projects.

• You prepare meetings, reports, and analyses and ensure proper follow-up of actions.

• You maintain oversight and ensure project documentation is managed accurately.

• You actively develop yourself towards an independent Project Manager role.

• You grow alongside increasing project complexity and gradually take on more responsibilities.

• You are proactive, curious, and eager to take initiative.

• You work in a structured and accurate way and can easily maintain an overview.

• You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues from different disciplines.

Additionally, we require:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or an equivalent Bachelor’s working and thinking level acquired through relevant professional experience.

• Strong technical affinity and an analytical mindset.

• A results-driven attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

• Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week.

• Excellent command of the English language is required. Proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred.

• The ambition, motivation, and learning ability to grow within the field of project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in and/or experience within the semiconductor, medical, or other high-tech industries.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, IPMA, PMI, or Agile.

• Experience with or interest in data-driven ways of working, for example using Excel, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and risk analysis tools.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Support the development and execution of project plans based on customer requirements and technical objectives.

• Assist multidisciplinary project teams in challenging NPI and CAPEX projects.

• Monitor project planning, progress, risks, budgets, and action items.

• Prepare project reviews, reports, and analyses.

• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify bottlenecks and support escalation and decision-making processes.

• Ensure structured project documentation and timely follow-up of actions.

• Contribute to process improvements, sustainability initiatives, and operational excellence.

• Support the preparation of business cases and investment proposals for management.
